Capitol Public School – Investiture Ceremony
“Leadership is all about uplifting the minds of individuals towards fulfilling his/her own goals in life” The investiture ceremony of the new cabinet was held on June 26th 2013 at 9.30 am in school playground. The cabinet members marched sprightly and majestically in sync with the beating of the drums to the school ground for the proceedings. The chief guest and the principal were given guard of honour and invited to hoist the school flag followed by March Past where all the four houses had marched. It was the ceremony where the Principal and the school management committee felicitates the leadership role in the students by appointing leaders among the students in the student council to preserve the discipline and decorum of the school.

Dr.Sudha Chandrasekhar badged the school head boy, Sports Captain, Cultural Captain and vice captains etc., Ms.Madhura was badged by her father who was guest on that day, Mrs. Myna Ma’am badged and administered the oath to House Captains, House Vice Captains and House Mistress. The Newly appointed members took their oath to uphold the tradition of the Capitol Public School. Finally the Vote of Thanks was proposed by the Mrs.Rashmi.K. The Programme anchors were Ms.Chaitra and Ms.Srivalli of X standard, under the guidance of Mrs.Abantika Sarkar. The function concluded with the National Anthem.


World Environment Day

We celebrated National Environment day of 1st July 2013. Students of Lily House spoke about the importance of the saving environment. They presented saplings to the school which was planted in the school premises. Master Suhas of class VII participated in the interschool essay writing competition – topic Reduce-Reuse-Recycle to protect environment conducted by ICT and won first price.
