Review by P. Naga Sriprad, Std. VI, San Academy Pallikaranai, Chennai

In the first book, Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, the author Rick Riordan combines ancient Greek with modern life.

I recommend those interested to read the whole series because it is just awesome.

There are 22 unforgettable chapters in which each page has a new challenge, surprise, and a turning point!

Zeus, the God of Sky thinks that Percy has stolen his lightning bolt; what could be worse than that?!

Well, as always, he proves he’s not the culprit like any other hero. But that’s not just it; it is completely packed with thrill, suspense and most important of all, FUN.

It’s un-put-down-able because Riordan has carefully written the book with a gripping storyline with puns and jokes as well.

You can also learn Greek mythology.

Reading the series in order is advisable. You won’t understand pretty much, if you read the series at random.

He’s my favourite author, and will be yours too.

A must read book I say!
