Karuna Club of L. M. Dadha Sr. Sec. School inaugurated the Karuna Club activities for the year, and especially the Students Training Programme for classes IX and X in our school.

Our Resource Persons for the day were Sri. Suresh Kankariya, Vice President, Karuna International, Sri. Paul Baskaran, Resource Person, Sri. M. C. Appandai Raj, Resource Person, and Sri. A. S. Ramamurugesh, Educational Officer, Karuna International.

The day started with the traditional “Lighting of Kuthuvillaku” by the dignitaries followed by Karuna Prayer.

Our School Principal Mrs. Shoba welcomed the Chief Guests and Resource Persons and addressed the gathering. She also wished the students good luck for the forthcoming days.

Sri. Suresh Kankariya organized an interactive session with the students on the topic “Karuna Values”.

Our Resource Person Sri. Paul Baskaran organized an interactive session with the students on the topic “Values Learnt” which covered empathy, compassion, identifying and nurturing the talents in oneself, taking pride in one’s good qualities, nurturing one’s strengths, destroying one’s weaknesses, adopting a positive mindset, not comparing oneself with another, and building believability through eye contact.

Our Resource Person Sri M. C. Appandai Raj conducted quiz programme and advised students to follow the Karuna Values for a peaceful life.

Our Resource Person Sri. A. S. Ramamurugesh delivered a presentation on “Animal Welfare and Nature” with a message to save animals and natural resources.

A film show on “Angel of Love” was presented to the students that created an importance of Love and Affection to the students.

Certificates were distributed to the students.

The programme was completed successfully with Karuna Pledge and Vote of Thanks.
