It is definitely an “inspiring teacher” who can make learning more effective than a trendy digital board.
The aid of digital boards could help a teacher save her time on drawing complicated diagrams and sometimes help them show demonstrations, but, even that requires an inspiring teacher to take it to students.
Inspiring and committed teachers are like MOM to each student, who feeds him love and supports him with sheer hope and trust. This takes the students to a greater height and uplift his confidence.
In a nut shell, I feel that,
Digital boards help to educate a child with latest technological topics. Whereas, Inspiring teacher nurtures a child and builds him as a complete HUMAN BEING (since learning is not just tech but also values inspired by teacher)

Now it’s a question of how class rooms use kids curiosity to teach various subjects. Following suggestions could help.
1. As we all know the influence of TV on kids where they learn. This shows that, use of multimedia at class rooms make their learning more effective.
Best would be to show well prepared video on the subject and then encourage discussion, question & answer session to make the learning complete.
2. Secondly, teachers must give attention and find out learning pattern for each kid as the same varies for e.g. some kids learn through reading, some through listening, some through writing, some through discussion etc., So group the kids based on their learning pattern and support their learning methods, which in effect addresses the whole class.

It is both the inspiring teacher and the Digital Board that helps a child to study. Any children or an adult for that matter, always remebers strongly any thing when it is seen visually. The teacher’s role comes here as the Digital Board can not by itself teach a child, how bright the child might be. It need the help of a teacher also.This is possible only in schools which have Digital Boards. The teacher’s role must be inspiring to the students and just not explaining what is in the book or on the board. The children will have a respect on the teacher and will just like the subject. But my strong view is that both plays an important role in a child who is going to school. This is possible only in schools which have Digital Boards. My views might be different. But this is what i think. Any parent may argue “what happens to the schools in villages which cannot provide a Digital Board?” My answer to this question is already said.

In the class room learning makes the students effective by the inspiring teacher. Teacher, as our ancient gurukulas is referred as “Guru” who modifies a student’s future by their inspiring explanation, with practical methods and the way they keep the children with curious questions that arise in the mind of the young children. Though parents are guardians, students future starts from LKG to post graduation will be in the care of Teachers. So an inspiring teacher will be responsible in making learning effective in the class room.

Today’s kids are fast learners.I feel the teachers should give them lots of examples with related to topics,then some exercises which are given after the each chapter is over which are there in the text book.some points to think ,the lessons should be interactive,the child should be allowed to ask questions,then some exercise which they can do.grammar can be taught with examples,if the class is smart then on the basic things tr can ask questions then some topic related examples,then reading exercise for languages is very important that developes kids confidence and attention in the class.class control is very important ,teachers facial expressions are good enough to control a class.frequent map reading in Geography is reqired to make it interesting ,in free period the class should be engaged in some games,math or science related, lot of teaching aids are very important to use.as the child can remember through observation . Now a days lots of drawing and craft related materials are available.i feel these subjects are needed to make it very I the resting and creative. The child should be given lot of freedom to make it creative and different as the subjects are reallyimportantbut they find it boring as it s not done with fun.projects can be done more interesting manner, practical applications are very important about whatever they learn,teacher should make best efforts.

My preference is for a school teacher over virtual class room. And reason for this is -
(1) A teacher understands the need of each student ;such as where a child is lagging ,what is his + points ,what is his – points ,what can be done in a particular case etc. ;which is impossible in/for virtual class room.
(2) Though it has (virtual class) been heavily advertised that a child learns faster through visual effect (?) ;I am slightly confused ; bcos same thing happens when a teacher teaches in a classroom while a child learns the same through his/her eye and ofcourse with the help of his/her ears.
(3) Last but not the least ; have these people (gadget-walla) have any kind of data with respect to its ( ILL )effects on the eyes of our children . Bcos pupils in our eye has to adjust accordingly ;thus putting lots of strain & stress on the eyes which will not be the case with our age old teaching method .
I am of this opinion bcos all of us know what computer & idiot box has given many of us —– sweet spectacles ; that too not free of cost .

Effective Learning or teaching is not just about teachers or the Digital Medium / digital Board.
Part of my assignments for Innovative Mind as a Psychotherapist and Counselor have been interacting with teachers and I realised that education institutions have been investing in infrastructure, extracurricular activities and very little in creating motivated teachers.
Is teaching just a another job, Probably it is something they got to do, just like all of parents need to for a living, to care of a family back home. The need of the hour more than teachers or the digital medium or whats best for our children is the need to create INSPIRING MOTIVATED TEACHERS.
Technology, digital medium is just a medium which makes it easier for the facilitator, but the teacher is the key and owners of institutions have to ensure that they invest in training , teacher overall holistic development than just hiring one for his or her degrees be it a B.Ed or M.ed.. but teachers who are themselves developed in the realm of intelligence, emotional balance, Spiritually inclined.
Definitely Digitization is gonna enter big time in to our classrooms and there are loads of businessmen who are at it to ensure it happens. Let instituations along with implementing digitalisation, focus on investing in people (teachers), invest in train the trainer programs, for motivation and INSPIRATION to be INSPIRATIONAL TEACHERS is just not an inborn virtue but can be created in time.

A teacher in the classroom is important to clarify the doubts of the children, no doubt Digital Board makes learning interesting, but it is more effective with an inspiring teacher.
Inspiring teacher plays a vital role but expensive digital board also plays some role( may be 20%).
The adage “A picture is worth a thousand words” refers to the notion that a complex idea can be conveyed with just a single still image or, better, a video. To start with, nowadays there are very few teachers who really want to pursue teaching as a career so it is hard to imagine them being inspiring. Digital content would definitely help students especially in science and maths where it would make certain difficult concepts easier to understand.
Nice topic for discussion ,in this age of digital world . I have a doubt whether this digital world is spoiling our children’s imaginative power .A mathematics teacher by profession I always insist my students not to use calculator it is spoiling their ability for oral calculation ,they are not able to concentrate on doing something without making mistake. Over exposure to digital world gives them everything readymade they do not have to use their brain ,this is affecting their personality ,over all development .
without inspiring teacher,no technology ,no school can make the child to develop interest in any field.Without interest child will not use the supporting tools like digital board. So the teacher play much more important role in the class room .LMOIS.FATHER OF NIKHIL
Didital board certainly enhances effectiveness of teaching but its always “an inspiring teacher” which is a must. A class room having all the latest gadgets but lacking an inspiirng/good teacher would be like a car with excellent aesthetcs and interriors but a with a faulty/ defective engine.
There is NO substitute of an inspiring teacher. Ihave seen in coaching centres that student leave behind all everything and go after a good teacher only.
In schools/colleges also, we find that the classroom of good teachers are always full because it is the teacher who inspires the students and nothing else.
A digital board without a teacher is just a tool…. it is the teacher who makes the board (digital or not) INTERESTING. I remember participating in a debate during my B.Ed days on a similar topic …. then tooo it was the HUMAN aspect which won hands down.
There is a famous quote that says “A picture is worth a thousand words” so digiual board is a definite plus in childs education. An inspirational teacher may not be able to take the kid to the whole world but with the help of digital board, she can bring the genius in every child. In todays competitive world, an inspirational teacher and a smart classroom with digital boards act like 2 eyes.

An inspiring teacher, no doubt!
After many years, when our kids grow up and are well-settled in their respective lives, they will look back and remember their inspiring teachers and not the digital boards. Don’t we all do it?
Having said that, I would also like to add that we must take advantage of the advances in technology as we are all doing it, an example being this very community speak forum, where we are able to put forth our views and help others through effective use of technology.
We cannot also deny the fact that the electronic media has such a huge impact in today’s life and it has become part of our lives, so we cannot stay away from it.
In all I would like to sum it up by saying that an inspiring teacher is the foremost requisite for effective learning–that who the student is going to remember for the rest of his/her life. A digital board/technology can be effectively adopted by the teacher in the course of imparting education, as a tool and not as the one and only form of teaching.

The teacher can impart great knowledge to the class but looking at the current scenario, kids are too curious and moreover a bit of mischievous so the digital board can be used as a tool that can ensure to grab the attention of all the kids in the class. More over it would be up to the teacher only for what content comes on the board so as to make it more interesting for the kids in their learning process in the class.
Learning could be made effective only by an inspiring teacher…. Any other learning aid can only complement the teacher who is delivering a topic… the time of a teacher could be effectively used by usage of aids like an expensive digital board.
Interaction is the most important aspect of any learning cycle… some students learn by reading while some others by listening to others talk about the topic… in either case, the learner would need a medium through which he could get his doubts clarified and what can make this better than a good teacher.
Can a dull teacher with a digital board make class room learning effective? So, the chief reason for making the Classroom learning effective & interesting is the inspiring teacher, next comes digital board. Digital board makes the learning more interesting as a better tool (as compared to the conventional board).
