2nd prize for Tarun Aravind in National Level Abacus Competition

Tarun Aravind, studying 2nd- std in Sri Sankara Senior Secondary school, won second prize in the 8th National Level Abacus competition in Chennai Trade Center. The competition aims to test children in their speed of calculation by giving them 100 arithmetic sums to be completed in a stipulated time of 5 minutes. Students from various centers across India participated in this marvelous event.

Tarun is an outstanding student in academics and is also pursuing abacus as an extra-curricular activity through Ideal Play Abacus, Indira Nagar, Adyar. He has developed a strong passion towards mathematics, resulting in his achievement.
