Summary
This is a story of a boy named Greg. Greg is a kind of a boy who likes to spend his summers in front of the T.V, playing video games with the curtains turned off. Unfortunately his mother’s idea of a summer is totally different from his. His mother’s idea of a summer is to spend the whole of summer under the sun. Greg’s friend Rowley is a person who is pampered by his parents. Rowley is still a kid. In this story Greg’s father buys a dog and they send his brother to get a dog bowl. Guess what his brother spelt it…………..I am not going to tell you!!
Later in the book he goes with his friend Rowley for a holiday to the beach as his family had not gone that year. Guess what happened.

My Review
I think that this book is a very nice book and is a catchy as it one of the few books of its kind that is a illustrated diary. This book explains the life of a middle school boy how spends his summer vacation not the way he wants to.
