N. A. Ritish Babu studying 1st standard in Chettinad Vidyashram has won two gold medals & over all championship on the Speed Roller Skating competition organized by Chennai District Roller Skating Association at Nehru Stadium between 27th and 29th July 2012.

Ritish Babu’s Dad said:
Chennai District Roller Skating Association (CDRSA) the Chennai district parent body of Tamil Nadu Roller Skating Association (TNRSA) organized its annual roller speed skating district meet competition in Chennai Jawaharlal Nehru stadium between 27th and 29th July 2012. The competition has been held for various age categories starting from below 6 to above 16 years for both male & female separately. There were around 500 participants from various clubs on the Chennai District participated in this competition.
N.A.Ritish Babu who is studying in 1st standard in Chettinad Vidyashram participated in the below 6 years Inline male category representing Chennai K.K. Nagar Roller Skating Club and has won two gold medals in Rink III and Rink IV. By securing gold medals in both the events, he also clinched an Individual Championship for below 6 years male category.
N.A. Ritish Babu resides in West Mambalm and is undergoing roller skating practice for the last 1 year under the direct guidance of trainers Mr. Vijayaraj & Mr. Varadhan, Chennai K.K. Nagar Roller Skating Club.
It is worth mentioning that N.A. Ritish Babu has also won gold medals in Club Meets under the same categories of events which were held in Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Sep 2011 & Feb 2012.
