I am a parent. How do I register on Yokibu?
Your details are pre-registered on Yokibu by the school. Once registered you will be notified through email/SMS. You then download our app or visit our site to sign up with us.
I run a school. How do I sign up my school with Yokibu?
If you are an authorized person such as a Principal or Trustee, to send us a request.
I already have my user id and password. How do I use your App?
If you are a parent or a teacher, just download our app and sign in with your email address and password. if you are a student, use your user name and password to sign in.
I have already signed up on Yokibu. How do I change my email address?
You can change your profile details through our App or on our site after you login.
I am a teacher. How do I sign up on Yokibu?
Please ensure your school admin has pre-registered you on Yokibu. You can then download our app and sign up.
I am a student. How do I sign up?
You need a Yokibu Access Code. Ask your parent to login to their Yokibu account and follow the steps below to find your Yokibu Access Code.
  • On the website:
    • Click on Account Name on the left-top of the screen.
    • Click on Children.
    • Click on the option 'Get Yokibu Access Code' below the forum list of the specific child.
  • In the Android mobile app:
    • Click on Menu icon.
    • Click on Children.
    • Click on the option 'Get Yokibu Access Code' below the forum list of the specific child.
  • In the iOS mobile app:
    • Click on Settings icon.
    • Click on Children.
    • Click on the option 'Get Yokibu Access Code' below the forum list of the specific child.
I already have a student account. Do I need to create another account if I join a new school/institute?
No. You don't have to. Just login with your existing account and follow the steps below to add a new code:
  • On the website:
    • Click on Account Name on the left-top of the screen.
    • Click on 'Add School'.
  • In the Android mobile app:
    • Click on Menu icon.
    • Click on Settings.
    • Click on 'Add School'.
  • In the iOS mobile app:
    • Click on Settings icon.
    • Click on 'Add School'.
I have installed the app. But I am not getting new messages. What should I do?
On certain phones such as Xiaomi phones, there is a separate app named 'Security'. If so, open this app from the App screen. Tap on Permissions and then on Autostart. You will now see a list of apps installed. Make sure Yokibu App is enabled and then restart your phone. This should ensure you receive all new messages. If you do not have the Security app and you do not receive new messages, please write to support@yokibu.com.
